We need help...
January 7, 2008 - A tornado ripped through Boone county, leaving a path of destruction from Boone County up to Kenosha County, Wisconsin. Shortly after 3:30 the tornado touched down near Poplar Grove, tearing off roofs and ripping trees out of the ground.
Among others, Anne and Rick Williams, owners of OldStyle Kennels were in the direct path of this January tornado. OldStyle Kennels is a fully licensed and well known breeder for excellent quality English Mastiffs, and English Bulldogs.
Thankfully, people and animals survived with scrapes and bumps, but buildings and vehicles were completely destroyed, along with fencing, and shelters for their cattle, horses, and kennel(s) for their dogs. Without adequate tornado insurance, and their dogs being their sole source of income, THEY NEED HELP.
Most of the animals are temporarily fostered out on the assumption that living quarters would be habitable within a week or so. They are still waiting to come home. Extensive damage was done to both the apartment (above kennel) and a house on the property. After 10 years of working to repair the house from a previous tornado, they were only 1-2 weeks from moving in (and acquiring insurance).

Gift Cards from places such as Home Depot, Menards, Wal-Mart, etc. are great ideas so that we can get the supplies to get their house safe to live in! If anyone has any building supplies, pet food, or other essential items, please consider donating to the Williams. Donation Info
